*I've noticed that a lot of songs that I translated use 精采 in them, which literally means "brilliant." Unfortunately, through that translation, its other meaning becomes lost and unable to be successfully conveyed. When someone says 活得精采, it means "to live in brilliance." This makes little or no sense in English, but it's equivalent to "to live a full life." Thus, it's either one or the other in English, but in Chinese, it's both at once. Chinese is cool like that. :} --Luna.
