How true are you to your personal style? What are your priorities when you enter that wide world known as the Internet? What is your specialty? What kind of webmistress are you?
1. How do you feel when you receive praise for a website design?
Beam with pride, but feel slightly embarassed and modest. Feel more happy about the spiffy coding behind the site that you alone know about. Feel very happy, grateful, and sincere praise in return. Glow like there is no tomorrow.
2. How do you react to non-constructive criticism?
Ignore it. Trolls will be trolls. Respond, vent, then have a laugh about trolls with your friends. Feel very disappointed and sad that people can be so rude. Possibly go on hiatus. BALEETED!!
3. What kind of feedback do you like?
Sincere feedback with lots of constructive suggestions for improvement. Any good feedback; especially from people I really care about. Any good feedback and any constructive criticism. I don't pay much attention to feedback. I do my own thing.
4. How do you feel about the advice: "Do it for yourself."
I agree wholeheartedly. I half-agree. Sometimes that advice isn't relevant. I prefer to give people what they want. It is my way of showing that I value their opinion. I feel that you should do it for yourself FIRST, but listen to what others have to say.
5. If you were a blog tool, what blogging tool would you be?
Movable Type b2 Greymatter All or none of the above
6. How do you feel about online journals?
They are a great way to express your thoughts, but some things should remain private. I prefer blogs, as I am usually too busy to write long journal entries. I will respect people's privacy, but be as sincere as I can about myself. The honest story of a person's life is the most pure and respectable form of art.
7. When you revamp your site, what do you find most joy in doing?
Updating my links and/or my "friends" page. Creating the design and/or manipulating images. Making it work better than ever before. Everything and/or nothing.
8. How do you feel about online romance?
Not my thing, but I can respect others who like it. A person would have to be pretty darn special to attract me online. I think it's perfectly fine. I don't find it very practical.
9. Finally, what kind of webmistress do you think you are?
A stylish chickadee with artistic flair and wonderful personality. A webmistress who puts friendship before site hits! A clever cookie with a nose for news and a quick mind. A friendly webbie with a talent for many things.
